Board training: Data modeling, reports & dashboards
From now on we will organize regular training sessions for different processes within your organization. Think for example about developing cubes, building reading processes, building reports, graphs and dashboards, being able to analyze your data, learning to build schedules, writing procedures or perhaps learning to build an entire planning process. Our Board specialists will help you on your way to becoming a Board specialist.
What is Board?
Board is a flexible integrated Business Intelligence (BI) and Performance Management system. It aims to integrate all flows within Performance Management and Self Service BI into one platform.
Board training for every process in your organization
1. Data modeling
This two-day basic training is designed for those beginning on their journey as Board developers, as well as anyone who may be involved in managing a Board environment or providing the interface between Board and external data sources. For users with a developer/admin license.

2. Reports & dashboards
This one-day basic training is designed for power users, as well as anyone who not only wants to be able to understand the data, but also wants to contribute to the design of the front-end of a Board application. For users with a developer/admin license or poweruser license.
Topics covered include:
- Tables & charts
- Application design
- Reporting definitions
- Drill down
3. Procedures
This one-day advanced training course is designed for Board developers who want to go beyond building reports in Board. The training offers a combination of back-end and front-end development. It covers how to do and save Board calculations between different cubes. For users with a developer/admin license.
Topics covered include:
- Procedures
- Data entry configuration
- Data locking
- Data flow
Please note that you must have successfully completed Training 1 (Data Modeling) & Training 2 (Reports & Dashboards) for this course.
Practical info
- Investment: 700 euros per day per trainee;
- Location: In-house or at our office, feel free to inquire about options;
- Requirement: Laptop or PC with access to the Internet.
