Privacy Statement

Finext and Privacy

We are an equal partner to everyone we work with. Whether you're a customer, supplier or Finexter: trust is the starting point. How we handle personal data is part of that. Finext collects data from you through its website and other services. We believe that the protection of your personal data is important. And that you are always in charge of your data.

Why do we need your data in the first place?

Finext collects and processes personal data because:

  • We want to help you the best we can with our services. We want to be able to send quotes and invoices and ask you how satisfied you are with us.
  • We want to answer your questions well.
  • We like to keep you informed about developments in the market. And because we want to invite you to events that are of interest to you.
  • We want to assess you as a (future) colleague on your professionalism, or because we want to keep in touch with you with a view to work. And of course because we share information openly and transparently as colleagues.
  • We want to continuously improve our processes, services and products. Analyses and market research help us do this.
  • We want to purchase products or services from you.

When do we collect your data?

When you enter or leave your information on our website, or otherwise sign up to use our insights or services.

We may collect data from you through (social) media to contact you directly or in the future to work with us.

Would you rather not have this information used for marketing contacts? If so, please communicate this at privacy@finext.nl.

What data do we collect from you?

  • First and last name. We like to call you by your name.
  • Company Name. We may have helped your organization before. Or we are already working for colleagues of yours. That way we can make connections.
  • Email address. We are happy to share content developments with you and invite you to interesting events.
  • Phone Number. We like to talk to you in person from time to time; this often begins with a phone call.
  • IP Address. To better know where your preferences lie, we link your IP address to your name. We thus remember your interests and send you appropriate information.
  • Interest in type of events. We organize a lot. Therefore, we save your preferences so that you only receive invitations to events that interest you.
  • Favorite soccer club. How much fun is it to go along to a soccer game once in a while? If we really want to make you happy, then of course it is at your favorite club.
  • Hobbies. If you are a fan of cycling, you would probably rather go to that than a tennis match.
  • Contact history. When did we visit, call or email you? We store all this so you get the right attention from us. Not too much, but not too little either.
  • Event participation history. We can look back at which events you have been to.
  • Pageviews. There is a lot of information and subject matter on our website. We record how long and which page you look at. So we can help you in a more targeted way.
  • (Un)subscribes. Not interested? Then, of course, we will store that neatly.
  • CV/motivation/interview notes/career data. We like to see if you have the Finext DNA. In doing so, we also ask for references and test results.

A website tailored to you

To ensure that we can tailor our website to you, we use cookies for Google Analytics. With the help of the information that Google stores from our visitors and reports to us, we can ensure that you can use the website more and more easily. All this information is, of course, secure. This is because Google never links the data to your IP address and only shares it if they have to by law. For example, they do not use this data to sell you anything. Would you rather disable cookies? You can do that through your browser settings. You could even disable Google Analytics completely via a plugin. However, this means that you will no longer be able to use all the features on this website.

How long do we keep your data?

Never longer than necessary! If we no longer need your data, we will delete it immediately.

Sharing with others

We share your personal data with others only when necessary for the performance of our services. To protect your data, we enter into (processor) agreements with these parties so that all personal data remains secure.

Is your data safe with us?

Rightful question. We consider this very important ourselves. Our systems all meet strict security requirements. Systems we use include AFAS for our accounting, Microsoft CRM Dynamics 365 for our sales and marketing activities and Recruitee, for our recruitment activities. In addition, all Finexters' laptops and phones are equipped with precautionary measures to prevent data leaks. One example is the Microsoft Intune program. We train all Finexters on personal data protection, and we keep everyone on their toes. Every Finextter also signs a confidentiality statement.
