More finance tools in "Grow with SAP"
SAP is serious about serving mid-market companies. They are doing this through a new commercial bundle called "Grow with SAP." Launched in 2023, this bundle consists of two versions: the basic variant and the premium variant. There are some changes in the premium variant. We set it out for you in this article.
What is "Grow with SAP?"
Grow with SAP is a bundle of SAP software and services aimed at mid-market companies not yet using SAP or cloud ERP. It includes just about everything you need for a successful and fast implementation, think standard processes, low-code/no-code environment for customizations, Group Reporting, Advanced Financial Close and now also SAP Analytics Cloud Planning. What has changed?
As announced by SAP during our SAP Close-up in December, a useful change has been made to the content of the premium version of this package for 2024, namely the inclusion of SAP Analytics Cloud Planning. This allows SAP users to use predictive analytics and machine learning, among other things, based on data in S/4HANA at no additional cost. SAP Analytics Cloud is especially useful in combination with S/4HANA because of the connection between planning and actual figures, automatic allocations and the financial analysis dashboards.
In practice
The premium bundle of Grow with SAP will further ease financial planning and consolidation. Local accounting figures from the ERP can be consolidated into Group Reporting and then used to report corporate and local figures in Analytics Cloud.
When you start the planning cycle you start with actuals. In Analytics Cloud, you create and manage the different planning, budget and forecast versions in a user-friendly way. If you need business allocations or different driver scenarios, you can now use automatic allocations, value tree drivers, data actions and stories. These local planning figures can be exported to Group Reporting and consolidated there for Analytics Cloud. This way you can compare both corporate and local planning directly with actuals on a "Single Source of Truth".
